What this calculator assumes

• Contributions and returns continue at the rates entered for the whole period. Investment returns vary year to year and are never guaranteed.
• Results are not adjusted for inflation, so a balance decades away will buy less than the same amount today.
• Employer contributions are the 12% super guarantee on the salary entered, less 15% contributions tax. Salary is assumed not to change.
• Super generally cannot be accessed until your preservation age (currently 60) and a condition of release is met. Rates and thresholds are those current as at July 2026 (FY2026-27) and change over time.
